Sevilla won a record-extending seventh Europa League title after beating Roma 4-1 on penalties in Wednesday’s final in Budapest.
With the two sides level at 1-1 through 90 minutes, after Paulo Dybala‘s first-half goal and a Gianluca Mancini own goal shortly after halftime, the match went to extra time where the teams still couldn’t be separated.
In the shootout, Gonzalo Montiel‘s decisive penalty helped Sevilla end their three-year wait for another Europa League crown.
