In continuation of Ward to Ward campaigns, Edo central PDP today stormed wards 3 (Ewatto), 4 (Ohordua), Ewohimi (Wards 1 and 2) in Esan South-East LGA.

One of the advocates of good governance and a proven party faithful, Hon. Festus Ebea said in Ewatto that Senator Engr Clifford Akhimienmona Ordia should be returned to the Senate in order to become a ranking Senator.

“Hopefully, this position will attract more projects to Esan land”, he reiterated.

On his part, Hon. John Yakubu, a former chairman of Esan North-East LGA, said during his tenure he attracted a lot of laudable projects to his locality. He queried the current APC Federal House of Representatives Candidate, Mr. Joseph Ikpea who formerly served as Esan South-East LGA boss, performed abysmally in his 8 years in office and advised them not to vote for APC in order to avert more mindless killings by Fulani Herders, end Boko Haram insurgency, unemployment and poverty.

However, at Ward 4 in Ohordua, the Edo Central Senatorial caucus chairman, Hon. Caesar Ehilenboajaye who enumerated some of the failures of the ruling APC government, admonished them to get their PVCs ready come February 16th and March 2nd to vote PDP en mass.

At ward 1 in Ewohimi, Rt. Hon Friday Itulah (JP), appealed to the people to vote out the APC which is synonymous with hunger, starvation and vote PDP. Itulah said, it doesn’t just end at casting your voting for the PDP, he enjoined them to also defend it.

Arriving Ward 2, the PDP vice-chairman of Esan South-East LGA, Mr. Benedict Enosegbe said the LGA has already secured 90% support for the PDP due to the unshaken support enjoyed from their leader, Chief Ken Imasuagbon (Rice Man).

Climaxing the rally, some members of the APC defected to the PDP. Speaking on their behalf, Mr. Adigbo Famous said they aren’t joining the party for monetary benefits but because of the sterling performances of Senator Ordia and Hon. Ogun.

Receiving the decampees, Hon. Caesar Ehilenboajeye

told them to join hands with all PDP candidates to rescue Nigeria from the dictatorial administration of the APC.

In a related development, the campaign train made a brief stop at Atani-Uromi, in Esan North-East as some APC members were harvested into the PDP.
