Minister of State for Budget and National Planning,  Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, has commiserated with a former Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Elizabeth Ativie, on the death of her mother.

In a condolence letter to Hon. Ativie, Prince Agba described her mother’s passing as an irreparable loss to her family and community.

The letter reads: “It is with deep sympathy that I commiserate with you over the recent passing of your beloved mother. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

“The feeling that comes with the death of a loved one, especially a mother such as yours, can certainly not be measured in words.

“I do urge you to take solace in the life that she lived and for the lives that she affected and especially for grooming someone like you who has become a source of pride to your community, our dear state and the nation.

“I urge you to brace up, be strong and also be consoled by the fact that mama has gone home for a deserved peaceful rest with the Lord haven completed her mission on earth.

“I pray the Almighty God to grant you and the rest of the family the fortitude to endure this irreparable loss.”
