Minister of State of Mines and Steel Development Dr Uchechukwu Ogah has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah in the country on the occasion for the Eid al-Adha celebration.
In his message, Ogah Said “around the world and in our country, Nigeria, once again, it is time for our Muslim Ummah to mark the Festival of Sacrifice, Eid al-Adha. This period reminds us of the call to loyalty and obedience in making sacrifices, even as we reflect on the mercies of God upon our nation”.
”As we celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Adha, we must remain resolute in sustaining all health protocols in the effort to curb the Covid-19 pandemic which has changed our way of life,” he stated further.
While enjoining all Muslim Ummah to always abide by the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), he urged them ”to remain loyal to constituted authority while being willing to make required sacrifices in our personal lives and associations for our collective good as Nigerians”.
Ogah added “May you enjoy a beautiful sallah celebration and may the blessings that emanate from the willingness to make sacrifices for our collective good and of obedience to Allah (SWT), grant us increasing happiness, togetherness and progress”.
”Barka de sallah to our leader, President Muhammadu Buhari and all Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and Abia State”.
