Cases of Covid19 infections in Nigeria has hit 5,162 according to the latest update by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC).
NCDC’s Thursday announcement of 193 new cases of #COVID19 in the last 24 hours showed Lagos, which is the epicenter of the disease recording 58 cases with 46 cases in Kano while Jigawa recorded 35 cases. The disease control agency announced 12 cases in Yobe, 9 in FCT, 7in Ogun, 5 each in Plateau and Gombe, 4 in Imo, 3 each in Edo, Kwara and Borno.
Bauchi, Nasarawa and Ondo recorded a case each. Out of the total number of 5,162 cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria, 1180 have been discharged while 167 have died.
